Boutique 2017
In 2017, Vans introduced its first owned boutique store—a bold evolution of the brand’s retail presence, blending premium product offerings with exclusive collaborations and hyper-local activations. This concept reimagined Vans through a more elevated retail lens, strategically positioned in key cities around the world.
Every design detail was a thoughtful extension of Vans’ DNA. We refined signature materials—like the plywood found in core Vans stores—complementing them with an adjacent palette that felt modern, dynamic, and fresh. Storytelling was at the heart of the experience, brought to life through seasonal window displays that amplified each product launch. We also introduced new immersive space types, including a dedicated Vault product room and a curated customization experience, deepening engagement and personal connection with the brand.
